Agenda: FAQ

Development

  • Host a Fall and Spring CDNJ Convention

  • Increase transparency by making Executive Board Meeting minutes available to all chapters

  • Establish more caucuses to better represent and advocate for our diverse body, including a Black Caucus, Disability Caucus, Faith Caucus, Jewish Caucus, Labor Caucus, Rural Caucus, and Women's Caucus

  • Work to recruit a more diverse CDNJ general body and chapter leadership

  • Establish fundraising efforts to help further develop chapters and offset costs (i.e travel for speakers, travel for conventions)

  • Ensure that all CDNJ Chapters have a voice in decisions made by the Executive Board 

  • Develop a statewide recruitment plan to expand student involvement 

  • Build effective partnerships with the DNC and the NJDSC

Elections

  • Engage, energize, and organize college students around the state to get involved in elections at every level

  • Establish a robust CDNJ GOTV effort

  • Establish a statewide voter registration program 

  • Evolve into a organizing-based group that elected officials, political staff, and campaigns can rely on to help them in election season and in between

Networking

  • Establish a resume bank for College Dems to connect them with opportunities around the state and country

  • Establish a mentorship program to connect College Dems mentees with mentors

  • Connect College Dems with internships and fellowships around the state and country
